We generally aim to stock wines that are affordable, every day but still lovely. We do sometimes happen upon fine wines of such quality that we have to get some! This is what we currently have in the way of fine wines…
Torbreck The Laird 2017 Barossa Valley, South Australia.
Description
This is without a doubt the best Shiraz we’ve ever tasted. It’s the flagship Torbreck wine and it’s easy to see why. This wine is a mind-blowing awakening of the senses. Victoria plum, brambly blackberry, cassis, soft luscious tannins with savoury notes of garrigue and cigar box. Drinking beautifully now but could be kept for 25+ years for further development.
